Pristine old growth forest

Verlekogen is dominated by old pine forest where many trees are over 200 years old. The area is varied with deciduous trees by streams and moist areas as well as some sparse spruce forest.

Easy hiking

The paths in the area (red dashed line) are not accessible with prams/wheelchairs but easy to walk even for children.

The hiking trail is approximately 2.7 kilometers long, marked with blue markers.
