Best spring, autumn and winter
Torslandaviken is an El Dorado for Gothenburg bird watchers. During the spring and autumn migration, many birds pass here.
A bird tower is located on the north west side and a platform is located on the east side of the largest dam, called Karholmsdammen. But around the dam there are many places to watch from.
There is a colony with sand martins (Riparia riparia) within the area, around the colony swarms of swallows and swifts (Apus apus) during early summer evenings.
